It took 100 years to make this hotel

You can't build stories out of nothing and if the walls of Sea Point's Winchester Mansions could talk, it would grab your attention within seconds, and you would cling to its lips for days.

Built as an apartment block in the 1920s, the building was transformed into a hotel in the 1960s. Through the years it has undergone many renovations and transformations, and on the cusp of the building's 100 years of existence, change is happening again.

Enjoy this peek into the past, and into the new Winchester Mansions Hotel, opening its doors soon again.
