Guided Imagery - Walk Through Forest
This guided imagery meditation takes you for a walk through the forest. Imagine the sounds, smells, and views of an actual forest - and feel a deep relaxation daydream.
Guided imagery is a relaxation technique by visualizing a scene in your mind. It’s easy to practice whenever and wherever you are, no equipment needed. Just imagine the peaceful scene of a forest, a place you have been before, a new forest that only exists in your mind. Incorporate as many details as possible: what do you see? What do you hear? What do you smell? Follow the voice in this meditation and it will take you there.
The birds, the leaves, the water, the trees... It will all pass by in this guided imagery meditation through the forest. You will not only think it, but you will also be feeling it. When you engage your imagination in this way, your body and your nervous system will respond as if you’re actually there.
Guided imagery uses the power of the imagination to relax your body and calm your mind. Enjoy.
