Version Purging in AEM

Purge Versions Tool
The Purge Versions tool is intended for purging the versions of a node or a hierarchy of nodes in your repository. Its primary purpose is to help you reduce the size of your repository by removing old versions of your nodes.

Go to the http://localhost:4502/miscadmin console and look for versioning folder here. below that folder we have Purge versions, open that page and then configure the path which you want to purge and select the number of version to keep. Here you can also use dry run option to test which versions will be purged. Select purge to purge the pages. This way you can use this tool to manually purge the versions in aem
