Managing Digital Assets in AEM. In this video I have discussed about how to organize and manage DIgital assets like image, audio or video in Adobe experience manager.

An asset is an digital document, like an image, video or audio file and it can have multiple renditions and have sub-assets. It's a binary file that includes metadata, renditions and sub assets.

In AEM, go to the assets and create a folder named Demo inside it. Go inside Demo folder and Upload a file here by either selecting a file or by drag and drop.

We will see how you can add and edit asset and it's properties. After uploading, DAM asset workflow generates the different renditions of image.

You can select the image and edit it. Like pages, image also has properties associated with it. And to delete it, you can select the image and click on delete.
This way you can manage assets in aem.
