EU is planning on banning all CBI programs, and it seems like the world is headed in this direction. In the past few years, Citizenship by investment programs got an extremely bad reputation, and many countries consider them as something linked to corruption, money laundering, and potentially crime.

This, of course, couldn't be further from the truth, as all CBI programs have extensive due diligence and will never approve individuals linked to any criminal activity.
But EU seems to be pushing this narrative when it comes to economic citizenships.

This really begs the question - what is the future of Citizenship & Residency by Investment Programs? Will they stick around or completely disappear? Will they change theirs from?
