I got a G-Shock! Did I make a mistake?

When I started collecting watches I thought I would never get a quartz watch. But I changed my mind and bought a G-Shock Gulfmaster. That may have been a mistake. After having on the wrist for a couple of weekly rotations, I’m finding that, although a tough and feature packed watch, it doesn’t fit into my collecting goals.
