NEW Mandalorian Season 2 LEAKED PHOTOS - Kamino, Exegol, Din Djarin Jetpack, Baby Yoda,

Lucasfilm and Disney have accidently leaked some brand new sneak peak photos from the Mandalorian Season 2 on the Xbox Disney+ app, which give us some incredible insight into what might be going down in the upcoming events of the season.

Many incredible new images have just leaked from the Disney+ Xbox app, showcasing some scenes directly from the unreleased episodes of the Mandalorian Season 2. So, I’ll go through each of them and break down exactly what they could mean.

The first leaked image appears to show Din Djarin Piloting the Razorcrest in space, flanked by an X-Wing to his side. A few more X-Wings can vaguely be seen in the background, potentially meaning that Din Djarin and the Razor crest are being escorted by them. This could be from an episode which is similar to the prison break episode with Mayfeld and the Purple Twi-Lek, or it could be something totally different, like Din Djarin teaming up with the X-Wings to target imperial remnant forces. Because we know that Ahsoka Tano is almost certainly going to appear in the show, there’s a possibility that these X-Wings could be related to the ones seen escorting Ahsoka’s shuttle in the final scene of Rebels, where she returns to Sabine Wren on Lothal. Again, those may have just been a standard X-Wing escort for the planet, so we’ll just have to wait and see. The X-Wings in this leaked image also look a lot like the Vanguard Squadron X-Wings from the Alphabet squadron series of novels, so they’re almost certainly not the Red Squadron from the prison break episode. The Vanguard X-Wings were also just released on Fortnite, which again look almost identical to these. So make sure you go pick one up if you play fortnite.

The next image pretty much confirms that Mando at some point has Razorcrest escorted by the same X-Wings. It’s not really clear exactly where he is being taken, but it must involve a high stakes encounter, so probably something closely related to Moff Gideon and the Darksaber. The big rumour at the moment is that some major characters like Ahsoka or Sabine could be piloting these X-Wings, and it would definitely be awesome to see that, but really who knows.

Following that we get an incredible shot of a vessel steaming ahead in the waters of an unknown world. This might actually be the first live-action boat in Star Wars that we’ve actually seen sail on water, so that would be amazing, but let me know down below if I’m forgetting any. Now I don’t think this is Kamino, because it does look far too bright for that, and it isn’t raining, but we do already know that Doctor Pershing, who was studying the Child is connected to the Kaminaons in some way because of the Kamino Patch on his shoulder, which was also seen on the Clones in Attack of the Clones. So although this probably isn’t the watery world of Kamino, we will almost certainly see some connection to it in the Mandalorian Season 2.

Adding on to that, we get a close up shot of Din Djarin on the ship, with the Child awesomely leaning over in his capsule. We can also see what looks like an aquatic alien in the background, who is probably the captain of the ship, taking Din Djarin to where he needs to go. It dosn’t really look like a Mon Calamari from that angle is definitely not a Quarren, so let me know what you think it is down below. The most likely scenario here is that Din Djarin was given a bounty on this water world and was forced to hire a local ship captain to show him the way around the planet, in search of his target. We can also see many barrels of a green substance surrounding the ship, so I’m not sure if that’s green milk or another fishing product, but it definitely does make it feel like a fishing vessel. Either way I’m really excited to see this episode! Let me know down below what you think Mando’s mission could be.

Following that, we get a nice shot of the Child inside of his capsule, on the same ship as before. We can’t really gather much information from this one, other than he is probably looking at Din Djarin doing something awesome. Maybe he’s already caught the bounty target at this point. We can also see Mando bursting into the air with his jetpack in the next shot, so I’m pretty sure these are in the same waterworld. It’s definitely going to be a very cool episode!

Next we get a very mysterious shot of Din Djarin standing on a blue tinted world. This one really reminds me of Exegol, and Jon Favreau has said in interviews that the mystery of Palpatine’s survival through cloning would be explored in the Mandalorian, so this could actually be Exegol. Personally, I don’t really think this Exegol, because that might be too much of a major location to visit at this point in the series, but it really does look like Din Djarin is standing behind one of the ancient Sith Statues that we saw in the Rise of Skywalker.
