We still haven't sold our house, the price is a little high and the market falls flat on its face during the winter months locally. I'm still working on our next place and we aren't tight on cash so we can afford to sit on it for a little while.

I had to remove the waterwheel to build the subframe, I really didn't want to be working over a flowing creek with bolts and nuts. I used a plated Unistrut for the frame material along with 3/8" hardware to mount the 3/4" bearings. I then used an intermediate axle to transfer power to the second stage sprocket speed increaser. Finally I mounted the motor in a temporary fashion and did some initial testing to ascertain the sort of voltages and currents I could get. Everything looks great so far and I'm happy with it all. In the next video I'll mount the motor, install a diagonal support to the sub-frame to resist racking, grease the bearings, and mount it on new longer wood cross-members under the flume.
