Walser Heritage and Gold Mines in Alagna Valsesia (Italy)

Alagna is an old Walser settlement at the foot of Monte Rosa in Northern Italy. It is a mountain village with pretty architecture and an old German-speaking culture. Alagna was also the centre of 500 years of gold mining. We search for the last building ruins that remain from these old times.
