CARAWAY versus BEAUTIFUL by DREW | Which is better?

I'm testing Caraway Cookware versus Beautiful by Drew Barrymore Cookware to find out which is better. I purchased the largest covered sauté pans in each line but both brands sell cookware sets and pans in various sizes. Are Beautiful by Drew pans Caraway dupes?

We'll talk about packaging, price, durability, and cleaning to find out which is the better buy.

Caraway cookware and Beautiful by Drew are made with an aluminum core body, a non-stick enamel coating, and a stainless steel disk on the bottom. That stainless steel disk makes them both compatible with (most) induction cooktops. They both work on gas and electric ranges as well. Both pans are oven safe.

Use medium heat or lower when cooking in these pans.

Caraway cookware is more expensive. This 4.5 quart covered sauté pan cost $145 at the time u purchased it. Caraway Cookware is sold directly to consumers through their website and is also available at Target, and Amazon with select sets also sold at Crate and Barrel. The Caraway cookware sauté pan weighs about 6.88 pounds.

Caraway cookware is handwash only.

The Beautiful by Drew 5.5 quart covered sauté pan cost $59 at the time I purchased it and is available exclusively at Walmart. I was only able to find this particular size and color at Walmart online. Sets in the store were hard for me to find even after visiting several Walmart stores in person. If you find Beautiful cookware on Amazon it's likely to be VERY expensive, about twice the price you would find it at Walmart so please beware of the HUGE mark-up in price.

While this 5.5 quart covered skillet is larger (wider and deeper) than the Caraway Cookware pan it is lighter weighing 4.79 pounds.

The Beautiful by Drew pan heats up VERY quickly and gets VERY hot even on low to medium heat, probably due to the thin aluminum construction. Keep an eye on the temperature or you could burn your dinner in the blink of an eye!

The instructions on Beautiful cookware say that it is dishwasher safe but my common sense tells me that handwashing will extend the life of this pan.

Beautiful by Drew Cookware is not as durable as Caraway Cookware.
The enamel on the lid of the Beautiful by Drew is already beginning to disappear after only a few days. I've only used the lid once and it has been hand washed with a soft cloth twice. I'm very disappointed in the quality of the enamel coating.
