Do your 𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 still 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 even though you keep stretching them⁉️ ⁣

If our hips are weak, then we will 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿. If we want to release them, then strengthening is key. 🔑 ⁣

If we 𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝘆, then the hip flexors can get tight and weak. Stretching alone 𝘄𝗼𝗻’𝘁 help them. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 when it comes to bone health and preventing falls. ⁣

🧍‍♀️In standing, hold on to support if you need it, 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗻𝗲𝗲, lifting the leg up and bringing it 𝗼𝘂𝘁 to the side and 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 and 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘂𝗽, forward and down. ⁣

👀 Watch that you 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘀𝘁 when you do this, only lift as high as you can while maintaining a neutral spine. ⁣
