Ratchet & Clank | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

Recently I got a real big yearning to play platform games and I immediately thought back to the early to mid 2000's era when PlayStation 2 dominated the market with their action platformers. It was the age of Jak & Daxter, Sly Raccoon and of course Ratchet & Clank.
Where Jak's initial game emphasized on the platforming, Ratchet hoped to present a new formula by emphasizing on many different, whacky weapons. There are many to collect and even upgrade and these can vary from snipers and grenades to more crazy things like flesh eating robots that you fire at enemies.
The setting is an awesome and unique cyberpunk world full of colorful planets that are a true joy to explore. Often you are required to come back when you have visited other planets for certain key items, but the tempo and the flow of the game is great.
Probably some minor issues are that the controls are a bit floaty and not as tight and the voice audio is also not as crisp as it can be. But overall this game has stood the test of time and is still such a joy to play. But what I am really looking forward to is playing and archiving the sequels as they have improved the formula in pretty much every way.
