In this video I am going to compare the Insta360 one R 1-inch with the GoPro Hero 8 and the DJI Osmo Action. I didn't try to make the Insta360 look better than the other 2 cameras.)
In this comparison video I am going to compare the image quality of the videos of the Insta360 one R 1-inch, the GoPro Hero 8 and the DJI Osmo Action. The very clear winner is the Insta360 one R 1-inch camera as it has the sharpest and brightest image. You will see clear differences in the comparison video.
After that I am going to compare the image quality of the photos of the Insta360 one R 1-inch, the GoPro Hero 8 and the DJI Osmo Action and here again the Insta360 one R 1-inch beats the other 2 cameras by far.
The stabilization test, however, wins the GoPro Hero 8 as it has the best stabilization of the Insta360 one R 1-inch, the GoPro Hero 8 and the DJI Osmo Action. For this test I did not turn on Hypsersmooth boost north the low light stabilization of the Insta360, as I will make a proper low light comparison test in the next video I am going to upload.
Another really important test I had to make is the audio test. Here the winner out of those 3 action cameras is the DJI Osmo Action, but that's just my personal opinion. While listening to the audio comparison you can decided for yourself, which one you like the most.
After that I am showing you quickly the design of the Insta360 one R 1-inch compared to the GoPro Hero 8 and the DJI Osmo Action and I especially focus on the screens, as both, the Insta360 and the DJI Osmo Action have front screens which are perfect for vlogging.
And last but not least I made a cinematography comparison between the Insta360 one R 1-inch, the GoPro Hero 8 and the DJI Osmo Action. There you clearly see the different color profiles, the crop while filming without any fish-eye effect and the image quality. Again, you can decide by yourself which edit you think looks the most cinematic.
Once we have had a look at all comparisons I exactly tell you which camera you should buy, based on the previous tests and your personal interests.
