Labor Party is ‘mobilising against’ Daniel Andrews: Alan Jones
Sky News host Alan Jones says Daniel Andrews won’t be premier leading into the next election as the Labor Party are “mobilising against him”.
“He’s got problems all around him,” Mr Jones said.
It comes as the state’s chief public servant Chris Eccles resigned after handing in phone records to the board of inquiry of the hotel quarantine inquiry.
The records showed Mr Eccles contacted then-Police Commissioner Graham Ashton in a six minute period before Mr Ashton confirmed a decision had been made regarding hotel quarantine.
Mr Jones said the premier pushed former health minister Jenny Mikakos “under the bus,” but now she has “buried him”.
“She’s virtually saying I might be under the bus, but you’ll come under with me.”
