Photogrammetry is the art, science and technology of obtaining reliable information about physical objects and the environment through the process of recording, measuring and interpreting photographic images and recorded patterns of electromagnetic radiant imagery and other phenomena.

It has two major aspects: the metric (measurement) and the interpretative aspects.
It can also be classified into three branches:
* aerial
* terrestrial
* space.

Aerial photograph is the view of a portion of the Earth's surface as produced on a light sensitive material from the light rays entering an air borne camera.

On this video we talked about Flight Planning: it is the process of determining the best fit flight lines and camera exposure stations this will help to cover the project area with minimum number of models, the total number of photographs to be captured.
It is the first step in photogrammetric project.
