It will be a cloudy, unsettled start to the day, with some more persistent rain pushing into northern parts of Wales and England. There will be plenty of showers over Northern Ireland and much of Scotland, turning heavy at times with a risk of thunder and hail. Over the south of England there will be some patchy rain. Winds will be blustery for many, strongest in the north though easing through the day. - This is the Met Office UK weather forecast for the morning of 03/04/2026.
