How do affirmations help relieve anxiety? Your thoughts have a powerful influence over your feelings and so one key step in overcoming anxiety, is learning to change the narrative in your mind. Affirmations help to challenge and reframe negative thoughts that fuel anxiety. By regularly repeating positive affirmations, you introduce new, constructive beliefs into your mindset, which can gradually replace anxious, self-limiting thoughts. This shift can reduce the intensity and frequency of anxiety.
I’m Andrew Major, Clinical Hypnotherapist, and I’ve created these positive affirmations to help you reframe the negative thoughts and worry into more positive and rewarding thoughts that help you think and respond more constructively to situations in your life, so you can regain control and feel calmer and more confident again as you practice and repeat this process.

How does hypnotherapy work for anxiety and worry? In my clinical practice online, we combine solution focused talking therapy with hypnosis to help clients overcome many emotional and physical struggles which are caused by or made worse by anxiety or stress. It’s a powerful combination of psychotherapy and hypnosis which means change can happen in a relatively short period of time. Unlike traditional counselling methods Solution Focused therapy focuses on the present and the future in a positive way, how you want things to be, rather than dwelling on the problems of the past. Thinking about life in a positive way helps rewire your brain, an integral part of the process because it helps build new healthy patterns of behaviour which means you'll be less likely to dwell on things in life, breaking the often-debilitating cycle of negative thinking and anxiety.
