Convert Sunlight to knowledge and skills at Community Development Center, Begum Kot Lahore.

Established by Shauoor Welfare Foundation in Begum Kot, Lahore, the Shauoor Community Development Center has become a new ray of hope for girls and women facing poverty, helplessness, and deprivation. Through its Non-Formal School, Sewing Center, and Beautician Courses, the center is providing free education and vocational training to orphaned, deserving, and widowed women’s daughters so they can move toward a dignified, independent, and brighter future.
Begum Kot is an area where poverty, unemployment, and drug abuse have deeply affected many families. Today, these same young girls are finding a safe and nurturing environment at the Community Development Center, where they are learning skills and rebuilding their dreams. The center not only teaches vocational skills but also instills confidence, self-reliance, and hope for a better tomorrow.
However, severe electricity load-shedding has become a major obstacle in their learning journey. Frequent power outages disrupt classes, stop sewing machines, and interrupt the training process. To overcome this challenge permanently, the center urgently needs a solar power system so that this light of hope never fades.
This is not just a center — it is a home for these girls’ dreams. Your small contribution can brighten a child’s future, become support for a widowed mother, and bring hope into countless homes.

شعور ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن کے تعاون سے بیگم کوٹ، لاہور میں قائم شعور کمیونٹی ڈویلپمنٹ سینٹر ان بچیوں اور خواتین کے لیے امید کا ایک نیا چراغ بن چکا ہے جو غربت، بے سہارا زندگی اور محرومیوں کا شکار تھیں۔ اس سینٹر میں نان فارمل اسکول، سلائی سینٹر اور بیوٹیشن کورسز کے ذریعے یتیم، نادار اور بیوہ خواتین کی بچیوں کو مفت تعلیم اور ہنر سکھایا جا رہا ہے تاکہ وہ باوقار، خودمختار اور روشن مستقبل کی طرف قدم بڑھا سکیں۔
بیگم کوٹ ایک ایسا علاقہ ہے جہاں غربت، بے روزگاری اور نشے نے کئی خاندانوں کو متاثر کیا، مگر آج یہی بچیاں شعور کمیونٹی ڈویلپمنٹ سینٹر میں محفوظ اور تربیتی ماحول میں اپنے خوابوں کو حقیقت بنانے کی کوشش کر رہی ہیں۔ یہاں صرف ہنر نہیں سکھایا جاتا بلکہ ان کے اندر اعتماد، خودمختاری اور بہتر زندگی کی امید بھی پیدا کی جاتی ہے۔
مگر موجودہ صورتحال میں شدید بجلی کی لوڈشیڈنگ ان بچیوں کے سیکھنے کے سفر میں بڑی رکاوٹ بن رہی ہے۔ بار بار بجلی بند ہونے سے کلاسز متاثر ہوتی ہیں، سلائی مشینیں رک جاتی ہیں اور بچیوں کی تربیت کا عمل تعطل کا شکار ہو جاتا ہے۔ اس مشکل کو مستقل طور پر ختم کرنے کے لیے سینٹر میں سولر سسٹم کی اشد ضرورت ہے تاکہ یہ روشنی کبھی بجھ نہ سکے۔
یہ صرف ایک سینٹر نہیں بلکہ ان بچیوں کے خوابوں کا گھر ہے۔ آپ کی تھوڑی سی مدد کسی بچی کے مستقبل کو روشن کر سکتی ہے، کسی بیوہ ماں کے لیے سہارا بن سکتی ہے اور کئی گھروں میں امید کی نئی کرن جگا سکتی ہے۔
