This item is something you may not really have expected in a video about outdoor photography accessories, but it is nevertheless very useful……….hand wipes or wet wipes.

You are outdoors taking photos and my friend, the outdoors can be messy! You may get dirt or dust or grime on your hands and you don’t want to be transferring that onto your expensive camera equipment.

So all you have to do is grab out your wet wipes, wipe 'em clean and you are ready to touch your gear safely.

These are a necessary nature photography accessory if you are using Sunscreen or Sunblock too. That stuff is oily and can stain the finish on your camera or lenses. Not to mention how greasy and slippery it makes your camera, making it harder to hold onto.

So if you are applying sunscreen, wiping your hands off before you touch your equipment is something you definitely want to do.

Now we want to be kind to the environment when wiping our hands, so always try to use some biodegradable or bamboo wet wipes. Please take them home with you along with any other rubbish you take with you when doing outdoor photography.
