My 736 Berkshire was running a bit sluggish and noisy so it was time for a quick cleaning and lubing. Sometimes just a quick cleaning is all an engine needs to improve its performance. I was tempted to take it completely apart and rewire it as well, but with the goal of getting it back onto the layout as soon as possible, I stuck with just the basics.
