Answers:
1. It's a 5 hour muddy walk from the village where we are staying.
2. River gets flooded even in light rains.
3. Respecting locals beliefs and superstition, which prevents us from going if certain things come up.
4. When the rebels are on Red Alert. (They might mistaken us for being government soldiers and you know.)

Why is the river very rich with Gold?

Answer: We know that the river is an outlet of a volcano crater lake, but we don't really know if that is the reason why gold is abundant.

But locals believe it is indeed from the volcano.
