Live violin masterclass with Caroline Strumphler

Live violin masterclass of the Riga Jurmala Online Music Academy with Caroline Strumphler, the principal second violin of the Concertgebouworkest.
Born in the Dutch town of Eibergen in 1961, Caroline Strumphler studied with Ramy Shevelov in Hanover, Herman Krebbers in Amsterdam and Masuko Ushioda in Boston. She has always played a great deal of chamber music, especially piano trios and string quartets. With her own string quartet, Strumphler won the New England Conservatory chamber music competition and, together with pianist Ellen Corver, the Sweelinck Competition for violin and piano duos.
In 1989 Caroline Strumphler joined the ranks of the Concertgebouworkest.

"Rīga Jūrmala" akadēmijas tiešsaistes meistarklase Karaliskā "Concertgebouw" orķestra otrās vijoles Kerolīnas Štramfleres vadībā!
Dzimusi Nīderlandes pilsētā Eibergenē 1961. gadā, Kerolīna Štramflere studējusi pie pasniedzējiem Ramija Ševelova Hanoverē, Hermana Krebera Amsterdamā un Masuko Ušioda Bostonā. Savas dzīves laikā viņa daudz spēlējusi kamermūziku, īpaši klavieru trio un stīgu kvartetos. Uzstājoties ar savu stīgu kvartetu, Kerolīna uzvarējusi Jaunanglijas Konservatorijas kamermūzikas konkursā, kā arī kopā ar pianisti Elēnu Korveru, uzvarējusi Svēlnika konkursā vijolēm un klavieru duetiem.
Karaliskā “Concertgebouw” orķestra sastāvam Kerolīna pievienojās 1989. gadā.
