How to set Day & Date on You Rolex Watch

Rolex Non-Quickset Day-Date

To set the day and date on the non quick set day date first unscrew the crown counter clockwise. Once the crown is free of the screw heads you will be able to wind the watch. To wind the watch turn the crown clockwise. To set the day and date, move the crown out to the last position. First set the day on the week by advancing the hands past Midnight. This also advances the date. You may need to do this for more than on 24 hour cycle to get to the right day. Once the day is correct, then you turn the hands counter clockwise to nine O clock and then back again clockwise past midnight to advance the date. Continue this until the date is also correct.

Rolex Single Quickset Day-Date

To set the day and date on the Rolex Single Quickset Day-Date, you would first unscrew the crown counter clockwise. Once it is free of the screw threads you will be able to wind the watch. To wind the watch you turn the crown clockwise. To set the date on this watch you move the crown out to the first notch, you will then be able to change the date rapidly by turning the crown counter clockwise. To change the day of the week on this watch you will move the hands clockwise past midnight. You may need to move the hands a full 24 hour cycle to get to the right day.

Rolex Double Quickset Day-Date

To set the day and date on the Rolex Double Quickset Day-Date, you would first unscrew the crown counter clockwise. Once it is free from the screw threads the crown is in winding position. To wind the watch you turn the crown clockwise. To rapidly set the day and date on this watch, you move the crown out to the first notch. The date is set by turning the crown clockwise, and the day of the week is set by turning the crown counter clockwise. To set the time on this watch you would then move the crown out to the last notch.

Rolex Non-Quickset Date/Date just

To set the date on a Rolex Non-Quickset Date/Date just model you would first unscrew the crown counter clockwise. Once it is free of the screw threads you will be able to wind the watch. To set the date on this watch, you would move the crown out to the last position and rotate the crown clockwise until you reach the correct date.

Rolex Quickset Date/Date just

To set the date on the Rolex Quickset Date/Date just, you would first unscrew the crown counter clockwise. Once it is free of the screw threads you will be able to wind the watch. To change the date on this watch you would pull out the crown to the first notch. For a men's watch you would rotate the crown clockwise to rapidly change the date. and for a ladies' watch you would move the crown counter clockwise. To set the time you would move the crown out to the last position. Remember with any screw down crown, you will want to make sure that you fully push down the crown and screw it clockwise securely onto the screw threads.
