Prime Time today visits a village – Sahdabar, lying on the outskirts of Meerut in Uttar Pradesh to understand from the populace what the deciding factors are when they choose a candidate to vote for in the elections. It becomes increasingly obvious that the women in rural areas have very little say in deciding whom to vote for and also that a significant number of people lack in political awareness and vote for those candidates that others vote for.
