Example of their ‘litigiousness and fragility’: Sussexes accused of trying to gag NYC school
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attempting to gag teachers and students at a New York school is another example of the “extraordinary litigiousness and fragility” of the couple, according to author Douglas Murray.
Mr Murray’s remarks come after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were accused of trying to silence teachers and students at a New York school during their 2021 visit.
The school was asked to sign a clause prohibiting them from making negative comments or social media posts, both now and in the future.
“It’s uncommon – most people, when doing good deeds, hope they're recognised for the sake of the deed itself,” Mr Murray told Sky News host James Macpherson.
“Not simply to sort of just get a PR trip out of it.”
