#30blueinks30days - Day 1 - 10

In this video - I show the 10 fountain pen inks I've explored so far during #30inks30days June 2020. I will create another video after day 20 and the final one after day 30. In this one, I show you my ink journal which has the writing samples, water tests, and chromatography, plus discussion and opinions about each ink. Thank you very much to pen friends who have sent samples and bottles of ink over the past 3 years! I'm set for life and I sure thank you!!!! At the end of the video, I show you a journal page with a background made from Taccia Sora (sky blue) ink.

4. Diamine - Alexandrite (shimmer)

6. Birmingham - Winter Garden Snowflake

8. Taccia - Sora (Sky Blue)
9. Cross - Blue
10. Rohrer & Klingner Salix (Iron Gall)
So far, my favorites are Noodler's Blue Steel and Bungubox 4B. I also love Cross Blue for a daily writing ink and Rohrer & Klingner Salix has me interested as well.
Each day I fill my Serendipity Mini Hybrid Dip/Fountain pen with the ink of the day and then I start in my Lochby 68 gsm Tomoe River paper journal. Testing and experimenting with the ink first and then writing a pen pal letter starting with the ink of the day! It's good to be getting to know these inks for the first time.
