Jazz was diagnosed with Anorexia when she was 15 and has been fighting the illness ever since. She discusses how mental health services deal with issues and how sufferers of mental disorders can be helped.

Jazz speaks openly about her struggles with eating disorders and how she felt invisible to the support services because she wasn't thin enough! She talks about the need to change the way the illness is dealt with and the danger of treating people by putting them into boxes.

Jazz is a 21 year old from Guernsey and is currently studying Social Work at the University of York. She was diagnosed with Anorexia nervosa and Clinical depression at the age of 15 and has been raising awareness of eating disorders throughout her recovery. Her experience of various mental health services has lead her to speak out about the challenges she has faced and she is now a voluntary member of the Board for The Youth Commission of Guernsey & Alderney.
