Members of the Glynneath Residents Against Contamination have provided this information in the interests of our potential new neighbours so that if you do suffer ill health or even death from living on top of a toxic waste dump you know where to point the finger and to seek damages. We have met with Shorts Bros representatives on the site on the 23 September 2025 and have provided them information about corruption in the planning process that has allowed them to build houses on a toxic waste dump. Historically the land has been a landfill site since 1937. Surrounding this location there are clusters of cancer, neurodegenerative and heart/stroke deaths.
