Shore Fishing New Hogan Reservior

Spent a little time in the freshwater last weekend going for catfish. Started at the back side of the North Fork Calaveras river inlet off highway 12. About a 20 min walk to the water but well worth it. The water was much lower the my previous visit there but luckily the fish still seemed to be around. We rigged the poles up with worms and salmon roe, snapped on the bells and waited for the fish to come. Not our best day at this spot but we did manage to pull in a few and our new dog Izzy got to meet her first catfish!
