Squeezebox Advent Calendar with John Spiers - December 15th - The Streb eMelodon (MIDI melodeon)

Are you feeling Christmassy yet??? Only 10 days to go! So here's a special one ... it's quite long for one of these videos ... and that's because this instrument does a lot of things!

The Streb eMelodeon is a fully electronic melodeon which has both a built in bank of sampled sounds including a range of squeezeboxes ... but it also can interface with most MIDI compatible devices and computers ... and the disclaimer here is that the sounds you are hearing for the most part in this video are my own sample banks triggered through a device called a Muse Receptor via MIDI. I take you through a lot of the things it can do ... and we have a little look inside too.
