The rewards of showing who you are

In 2014, spurred by a statistic on the lowered life expectancy of LGBTQ men and women in non-accepting communities, Morgana Bailey made the biggest announcement of her life from the TED@State Street stage. A passionate advocate of the idea that being true to oneself contributes to a healthier and more open environment, Bailey set forth the social and political changes she hoped her personal act of storytelling would set off.
