How to Create Leaf Rubbings | An Art Activity | Crayola Creativity Tips

Leaves come in many different shapes, sizes, colors and textures. Step outside and discover how many types of leaves you can find in your backyard. Then gather your favorites along with your art supplies to join Crayolian James Wells as he creates art nature!

In this activity, students will create rubbings by placing leaves underneath paper and rubbing crayons over the paper to replicate the textures and patterns of the leaves. This is a fun exercise in the fall season, but can be utilized year-round for students to explore nature and their creativity.
