Will It Start? Seized Yanmar Diesel Boat Engine

Locked up Yanmar 3-GMD diesel sailboat engine. What's inside? Can it be saved & made to run?
The engine is a early/mid 1980's model and had only around 30 hours on it when it was abandoned about 20 years ago.
The GMD series engines are sea water cooled, meaning this engine has sat with saltwater in the system, possibly corroding through the exhaust elbow and ending up in the cylinders.
There is a waterline about 3/4 of the way up the engine and both the crankcase and gearbox had water in them when I began work on the engine.
