NOTE: One of the musical icons of the American Roaring Twenties, played by the famed NY dance band The Clicquot Club Eskimos, led by legendary banjo vituose Harry Reser. He is regarded by some as the best banjoist of the Jazz Age, if not the greatest banjoist of all time. Reser released a series of solo banjo records starting in 1921, in 1925 he became the director and frontman for the Clicquot Club Eskimo Orchestra on the NBC radio network. This weekly half-hour show, sponsored by Clicquot Club ginger ale, made him famous and Reser was on the air until 1935. During that time he led various bands using an amazing number of pseudonyms. After the 2nd WW Reser continued to be active in music touring, leading tv studio orchestras, playing in Broadway orchestras, recording and writing several banjo instruction books. He died in 1965 of a heart attack during rehearsal to the Broadway performance of the "Fiddler On the Roof".
