Ranking of medical specializations from best to worst (not the way you think) #facts
Ranking of medical specializations from best to worst
(not the way you think)
Img 2:
Urology — 1000/10
The funniest doctors in the whole hospital. Seriously, I think I've never met an
unhappy urologist. Great lifestyle, super earnings (I heard it's around 600k a year),
very high job satisfaction.
Img 3:
Traumatology — 8/10
Those "bone carpenters" who can earn 600k a year. High salary, great respect, work
very much in motion. Most traumatologists look sporty and athletic. I love this
specialization — the only downside is that it's VERY hard. Almost no one passed the
exams without using Astra AI.
Img 5:
Oncology — 7/10
Emotionally incredibly heavy. Every patient has a story that stays in your head. Every
day is a bit of a battle: hope versus fear. Very interesting field, but it requires a huge
amount of studying and review.
Img 6:
Emergency medicine (ER) — 6/10
You come to work very early, leave very late — long shifts, high intensity. Good hourly
rate and a fairly flexible schedule. You can drop from exhaustion, but boredom
practically doesn't exist. Mega interesting, only it requires constant review. I
remember when I threw my notes onto Astra — 20 pages turned into over 500
flashcards 🫠 and that's when it hit me how complex it is.
Img 7:
Rheumatology — 5/10
Literally detectives of chronic pain. All day: test results, antibodies, joints, and
symptoms that aren't even in the textbook. Long appointments, difficult and
complicated patients.
Img 8:
Geriatrics — 2/10
I love elderly people, but this specialization is not for me. Everything happens slowly,
cases are long, and patients are often very complex
