Bill Monroe and his Blue Grass Boys - Rare Live Grand Ole Opry Recording of the First Bluegrass Band

This is a recently discovered set of recordings by the very first Bluegrass band, Bill Monroe and his Blue Grass Boys. These 8 songs feature Blue Grass Boys Lester Flatt, Earl Scruggs, Chubby Wise, Howard Watts, and of course Bill Monroe. These songs were edited with the help of Robert Montgomery and Matteo Ringressi. Thanks to them for their help. Also, a big thanks to bluegrass Jan Johansson for his help in preserving these great recordings as well. Unfortunately, most all of these songs are incomplete. However, we felt that these recordings were so significant that they must be put out for everyone to listen to regardless of being complete or not. We hope you enjoy!
