How to Combine Android Phone and iPhone Connections on your PC

It's possible you can't find any Wi-Fi networks to use with your PC. But don't worry - if you have 2 smartphones - like an Android and an iPhone - you can easily combine them on your PC using Speedify, and get more bandwidth. I’m Ryan from Connectify, and in this video I’ll show you how.

Speedify is an intelligent bonding VPN you can use to combine iPhone and Android connections on your PC. More importantly, Speedify detects when one of those connections is weak. Then, it seamlessly transfers your traffic to the other connection, so you never have to deal with dropped calls and interrupted video again. This technology is called Channel Bonding.

Requirements:

- PC
- iPhone with data plan
- Android phone with data plan
- USB cable
- Speedify

First, create a hotspot on your iPhone. To do this, open Settings, tap Personal Hotspot, and flip the switch on. You can customize the Wi-Fi hotspot name (SSID) and password if you’d like.

Then, connect your Windows PC to the iPhone hotspot you just created. Click on the network symbol in the lower right corner of the taskbar. Make sure that Wi-Fi is enabled in the pop-up menu and select the Wi-Fi hotspot you set up on your iPhone.

Next, connect your Android phone to your Windows PC using a USB cable. Then, go to your phone’s Network Settings. There, you should find a section on Tethering. Tap on that and toggle the USB tethering switch on.

Now it’s time to start combining connections by turning Speedify on! When you launch it, Speedify automatically detects your 2 active connections. You’ll see them contained near the top of the Dashboard.
