Search vs Display Ads On Google - Does Display Even Work?

In this video we are going to break down the difference between search and display ads on Google and ask the question as to whether display ads even work, are they worth doing? Google text ads vs display ads sounds like a simple question, but it's not!

We all know when people think of google, they think of search, but what about display. The likes of Gary Vee already laughs at display ads, but is he right to?

Once we establish the key differences, we'll then look at the advantages and disadvantages of both channels and when to use them , looking at specific scenarios.

For search we should know the benefits, but for display on Google Ads, there are some interesting targeting options that can be used, including

in market audiences
re targeting
demographics and affinity audiences

Think about your product and you may be surprised to learn display could be worth testing or indeed perform better than search campaigns. it may not necessarily be a case of Search vs Display on Google Ads, but a question of how you can use both.
