Man Accuses Wife of ‘Gaslighting’ Him for His Fortune
A Connecticut man named John Marino says his wife Donna deliberately made him think he was going senile allegedly to steal his $600,000 in life savings. It’s a suspected example of the practice of “gaslighting,” or psychologically manipulating someone to question their own sanity. The Marinos have been married 12 years, and Donna goes on trial later this month on multiple larceny and forgery charges.
