Welcome to fabulous vintage Las Vegas. Great footage including the old Stardust sign featuring the Lido show and the Kim Sisters, walking along Las Vegas Boulevard, and shots of the Riviera and El Morocco signs. The it is off to McCarran Field with the Executive Air Terminal sign and a glimpse of the exterior of the Hughes Executive Terminal. Then it is off for a drive down Fremont Street at night featuring amazing footage of the famous neon signs from: The 4 Queens, The Fremont including the Fiesta Room marquee featuring Kathryn Grayson and Howard Keel and the Carnival Room, Golden Nugget, Binion’s Horseshoe, The Mint, McLaney’s Carousel, The Pioneer Club cowboy, The Las Vegas Club, the Greyhound Depot, The Golden Gate, California Club, and the Thunderbird. We then continue to the Strip featuring: The Riviera (marquee features Marty Allen & Steve Rossi with Phyllis McGuire, Jan Murray), The Stardust, The Frontier (marquee features Jimmy Durante and Marmara McNair), The Sands (marquee features Jack Jones, Nipsey Russell, Rowan & Martin in the Copa Room and Louis Prima and Sam Butera in the Celebrity Theatre, Caesars Palace and The Dunes (marquee features Casino de Paris show).
