5G RedCap Intelligent Healthcare

Huawei and China Mobile Ningbo jointly built the 5G Fully Connected Smart Hospital Solution. It combines 5G private network and 5G Reduced Capability (RedCap) technologies in order to help hospital to centrally manage devices and implement six core smart healthcare applications. The campus is fully covered by a 5G RedCap network that connects more than 550 5G RedCap terminals.

As the first commercial use case of 5G RedCap for smart healthcare in China, this project marks the maturity of lightweight 5G for end-to-end commercialization, which can be adapted to a wider range of industries.
