Ann Rule and Diane Downs disagree ... repeatedly - Oprah (Sept 26, 1988)

I missed the first few seconds of this episode when it aired in 1988; I was probably running around looking for a videotape to pop into my top loading Quasar VCR.
Diane Downs, in prison for killing one of her three children and wounding the other two, has issues with Ann Rule's book true crime book "Small Sacrifices" and she challenges it's classification as a work of non-fiction.
Ann more than hold her own and it's obvious from the reactions of audience members who can be believed.
Oprah is clearly familiar with the book and calls Diane out on several of her assertions.
