Maria Shriver interviews several inmates and members of staff at the (now closed) Dwight Correctional Center in Illinois.
This report aired on April 19, 1988.
Receiving a good amount of screen time are convicted killers Cheryl Hobbs & Pamela Pastorino.
Not everyone who appears is identified but Ms. Shriver speaks with Warden Jane Huck, Dwight's Family Advocate Jeanne Fairman as well as inmates Elizabeth Jones, Lisa Ridgeway and Diane Maxwell.
There is an interruption of about 3 1/2 minutes so that NBC-NY could provide an update on the NY Primary race. I've opted to leave the segment in. If nothing else, it explains the loss of continuity in the broadcast.
