Aircraft supply chain issues likely to persist till 2026, says IATA chief Willie Walsh

Global supply chain issues affecting the delivery of new aircraft could well persist into 2026, says International Air Transport Association (IATA) director-general Willie Walsh. But the problems do not appear to be getting worse, he tells CNA's Roland Lim on the sidelines of the World Air Transport Summit in Dubai, which sees global airlines gathering to discuss ways to navigate around geopolitical instability, growth pressures from strained supply chains, and sustainability targets.
