5 (Not So) Easy Steps to Coming Out | Amanda Gundel | TEDxWCMephamHigh
High School Junior Amanda Gundel offers some advice about coming out to yourself, your pets, your family and the world. Are you cool with that? Eleventh grader Amanda Gundel enjoys expressing herself through the written word, and has sought out many opportunities to hone her craft alongside other flourishing writers. With her genuine love of literature and language, Amanda hopes to become an English teacher so that she may teach others how to appreciate this art form. Amanda is passionate about teaching the whole individual and wants to help people find their own confidence and voice. If she inspires just one person, she says, she will have found success. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
