A woman in South Miami, Liz Frechel, was arrested after police say she assaulted her boyfriend with a machete following a dispute over alleged infidelity. According to the arrest report, the argument began during a dinner at Texas Roadhouse when the man saw photos on her phone showing her with another man. The next day, when the boyfriend returned to the apartment to give back some of her personal items, Frechel reportedly locked him inside a bedroom, retrieved a machete and slashed his right elbow while shouting threats. The victim escaped to his car and drove himself to the hospital with a deep laceration.
