..and you thought NYC restaurants were expensive! 😁 For just $495K, you and 5 friends can book a seat on the world's first carbon-neutral spaceship, where passengers will dine while wearing made-to-measure outfits from French fashion house Ogier. SpaceVIP's latest venture is a celestial gourmet experience aboard the Spaceship Neptune (built by Space Perspective). Collaborating with renowned chef Rasmus Munk, this 6-hour exclusive journey redefines opulence floating at 100,000 feet above the Earth. How amazing! 🌌

But why this celestial extravaganza?

The founders of Space Perspective, Jane Poynter and Taber MacCallum envisioned a space travel experience that would be more akin to a high-end cocktail lounge than a cramped spacecraft. 🍸 🪐

So, they created the capsule 'Spaceship Neptune' which distinguishes itself with its spacious interior, featuring custom recliners, a bar, and panoramic windows. To put it in perspective, Neptune's 16-foot diameter sphere boasts an internal volume of 2,000 cubic feet—twice as spacious as Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo and Blue Origin's New Shepard, and four times roomier than SpaceX's Crew Dragon. The interiors are designed with sustainable materials embraced throughout. The handcrafted bar is made with proprietary materials recycled from the unique SpaceBalloon connected to the capsule. The capsule is lifted and descends by giant-space hydrogen balloon propulsion, with traditional parachute backups. 🪂

But it's not just about Instagram-worthy views and food. Beyond the luxury and comfort, the Spaceship Neptune experience aims to foster guests with a deeper understanding of space's role in preserving and enhancing life on Earth.
