Most would wonder why a codependent would be so attracted to a Narcissist. Well, when you’ve been raised to believe you have to earn love, rather than receive it freely, a codependent has been trained to “work” for the “love” and attention of a narcissist. Whereas the narcissist is simultaneously receiving supply (ego stroke), with little to no effort on their part.

The little crumbs given is disguised as showing “effort” and “appreciation”, when in reality the narcissist is abusing and taking advantage of the codependents desire for validation, insecurities and finds it easy prey to manipulate.

As with any relationship with a narcissist, the dynamics are feeding then disposal once the narcissist feels bored and seeks out new supply. The toxic tango is halted and later resumed when the Narcissist decides to return and Hoover the victim back in. DISCERN!!!!!!
