DIY Advent Calendar

In this video, I have made an advent snowman calendar by using a thrifted circular wooden board and some gloss paper. I started by painting the surface white and then hand painted the numbers. You can use stickers/ stencil to do this step. I also painted the eyes and smile of the snowman with black acrylic paint. For the nose needle/ carrot, I used a thick drawing sheet and painted it in a mix of red and orange. I used a gloss foam sheet in black to make the hat and a red gloss sheet to make the red ribbon for the hat. I also handmade the holly leaf by using the same drawing sheet and painted it with some green acrylic paint and green glue glitter. I finished the leaf by sticking some leftover red berry from an old wreath with it. And voila, you have your very own advent snowman calendar. You can hang this snowman calendar near your Christmas tree or near your fireplace. It can be a fun little DIY for you and your kids and a great Christmas decoration for your home.

SUPPLY
1. Circular wooden board/ thick corkboard or cardboard
2. Acrylic paint in black, green, white, pink, red and orange
3. Black gloss foam sheet
4. Red gloss paper
5. Scissors
6. Green glitter
7. Glue
8. Small nail if using a wooden board (or push pins/ drawing pins/ thumb tack if using a cardboard or cork board)
9. Thick drawing sheet for making the holly leaf (or simply buy holly leaf from the store)
10. Artificial red berry
11. Twine/ ribbon/ piece of wire/ string for hanging
