Construction Update: MD-32 / Patuxent Freeway Expansion | Summer 2021 (Northbound Time-Lapse Trip)

Time-lapse video northbound of the project to widen Maryland Route 32 to a four lane divided highway from the current bottleneck at Linden Church Road to I-70 as of late July 2021. The project will also extend the Patuxent Freeway (the existing freeway portion of MD-32) north from Linden Church Road to the Burntwoods Road interchange, a few miles short of I-70. The rest of the project from Burntwoods Road to I-70 will be a four lane divided highway with limited crossroads. Long term plans do call for the Patuxent Freeway to be extended all the way to I-70.
